This year will be our 10th Social Dance Break at the Victoria Hotel, Torquay. To celebrate this anniversary, we will be bringing you a packed programme of dance and social activities to make this a year to remember!
Every year, as we say our farewells, the phrase ‘the best year ever’ resounds throughout the group. Everyone asks “How can you beat that?”! We have prepared to astound you again! Here’s how:
* 3 Nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast
3 night stay at the Victoria Hotel, TLH Leisure Resort. All rooms have en suite bathroom, with complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries.
The hotels elegant restaurant has a splendid period feature with its glass-domed roof. Enjoy a full English breakfast as well as Continental options. In the evening you can choose from the extensive buffet of hot options as well as a salad bar.
* Sparkling Drinks Reception
Once you are all checked in, we will meet in our finery in the Warwick Ballroom for a complimentary pre dinner drink at 6pm.

* Two Magnificent Ballrooms
We have exclusive use of the Warwick Ballroom, which has a Canadian Maple sprung floor covering 187 sq m! This is where all our events will be held. The Richmond Lounge is a bright, airy ballroom, stylishly decorated in period style. The South facing aspect takes full advantage of sunny Riviera days. This will be available to idodance for practice between events.
* Black & Red Ball with Dance DJ Entertainer
Flying the idodance flag, we will all proudly display our School colours, filling the Warwick Ballroom with Black & Red. Our friend, entertainer and DJ Kevin will be returning to provide his quirky humour, boundless energy and top tunes for dancing!

* Monochrome Ball with Specialist Live Band
It is with great excitement that we will be bringing you a specialist Live Band to dance the night away on Saturday. After months of searching, for what at one time seemed the impossible, this Band provides tunes to cover all the styles of dance we teach and all strict tempo! Comprising of all highly regarded, professional musicians, the Band has performed and recorded with many outstanding artists, delighting audiences at events both in the UK and internationally.

* Argentine Tango Afternoon with Tango Quartet
A candlelit afternoon of Argentine Tango music and dancing. This superb Quartet have delighted us at our 2 previous dance breaks and are returning due to popular demand. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful blend of instruments and vocals, or get up and move to the hypnotic rhythms of Tango Sonoro.
Dress Code: A nod to the back street bars of Buenos Aires!
* Sunday Evening Social Dance
Time to wind down? Oh no! It’s another evening to Chat, Drink, Dance, Repeat! Time allowing to collect and collate, we will display your photographs from the weekend on the big screens.
Dress Code: Smart casual, colour and style of your choice
* Morning Dance Workshops
We will be providing morning Dance Workshops on Saturday and Sunday. Full details will be announced at the drinks reception!
Dress Code: Cool, comfortable clothing of your choice
* Private Bar
We will have a dedicated Bar Person serving our drinks at each of our events (excluding the Dance Workshops where water will be available!) The Bar will be open until 12.30am each evening.
* Use of Swimming Pools & Leisure Facilities
You have the use of an Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Sauna & Gym all included in our package price.

The above logo will be printed on the back of a red, 100% cotton T-Shirt, with a smaller TQ10 (Torquay 10) design on the front.
