Terms & Conditions
The Terms and Conditions contained in this document apply to all services provided by idodance School of Dance.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to you. Any such change will not affect any purchases you have made before the change is implemented.
1. Course Enrolments
1a. All Students must complete the online enrolment form prior to joining an idodance class
1b. By enrolling with idodance, you accept you have read and agree to our ‘Terms and Conditions’ and our ‘Privacy Policy‘
1c. Existing Students must enrol and pay the full course fee by the end of the previous term
1d. New Students must enrol and pay the full course fee prior to the commencement of the course
1e. Minimum age for enrolment is 18 years
1f. If you do not have a dance partner, please contact us prior to enrolment
2. Cancellations
2a. Idodance cannot be held responsible for changes in participants personal circumstances which might prevent attendance.
2b. If notification of cancellation is given more than 14 days prior to the course commencing, a full refund will be given
2c. A 50% refund applies if notification of cancellation is given between 7-14 days prior to the course commencing
2d. No refunds will be given once the course has commenced or within 7 days of commencement. Exceptional circumstances will be considered by the Principal
2e. In the event of illness, unavoidable absences or holidays taken during term time, refunds cannot be issued but up to 2 classes missed can be made up by attending a different class, by prior arrangement and subject to availability
2f. idodance reserves the right not to compensate for any classes cancelled due to incidents beyond our control. e.g., freak weather conditions, road accidents
2g. On the occasion that a class is cancelled by the Principal due to illness or injury, idodance will reschedule the class where possible. If it is not possible to reschedule a class, for which the fees have already been paid, idodance will deduct the cost of the class from the following term’s enrolment fee
2h. Occasionally it is necessary to temporarily postpone a class, or change the time or venue at the discretion of the Principal
2i. If there is not sufficient numbers enrolled in a class to make it viable, idodance reserves the right to offer you an alternative class of a similar level
3. Physical Contact and Medical Information
3a. Dance is a physical activity and contains a certain amount of risk. Any Student taking part in any classes or events, run by idodance do so at their own risk
3b. In order to assist learning the idodance Team may physically help a Student by using touch. This will always be performed in the most professional and careful manner
3c. The Principal should be made aware of any medical conditions, health concerns or learning difficulties that may affect your learning or ability to perform in class
3d. Any injuries should be made clear to the Principal, prior to or at the start of class
4. Photography
4a. idodance may take photographs or videos of Students for use on our website and social media platforms. If you do not wish to appear on any marketing or advertising medium, please advise us in writing to info@idodance.co.uk
4b. We do not allow any form of Photography or videoing by Students during class time
5. Private Tuition
5a. Payment must be made in advance by bank transfer
5b. In the event of cancellation, you must give 48 hours’ notice or payment must be made in full
5c. If you forget and miss your lesson, the full fee is payable
6. Special Events
6a. Tickets are non-refundable unless idodance are able to sell the ticket on
7. Residential Dance Breaks
7a. Your deposit secures your place. This is a non refundable payment
7b. Full payment must be made by the due date or your room will be released by the Hotel and your deposit will be lost
7c. Rooms are allocated on arrival
7d. Please direct any requests or queries to us, your Dance Break Organisers, not the Hotel Team
7e. Places are offered to idodance students, 18 years and over only
8. Miscellaneous
8a. We do not allow any Spectators to attend a class
8b. Should your contact details or medical information change, please notify us in writing to info@idodance.co.uk
8c. Everyone is responsible for their own property and bring items to any idodance event at their own risk. idodance will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items
8d. You must not promote or advertise any other Dance School or outside events at any idodance occasion
8e. idodance will exercise the power to refuse admittance to anyone it considers unwelcome at any event
